City of Easton Corruption

The scam reported in the article titled “Former Newark Mayor Warned about Charges,” published in today’s edition of The New York Times, has been the practice of the City of Easton, Pennsylvnaia, for years.

Northampton County Corruption and Cover-Up

Northampton County, Pennsylvania. Controller John T. Schimmel’s August 4, 2006, audit report, presented to County Executive John Stoffa and to the members of County Council removes from all doubt that the county’s 2001 $111 million megabond and the county’s General Purpose Authority that issued it are both illegal - as the Billy Bytes Publications have maintained at least as early as January 10, 2002, when their editor, Easton resident Billy Givens, warned County Council in correspondence presented for the record of the megabond’s illegality as well as the unlawfulness of its issuing General Purpose Authority.

The reader of this posting may read Controller Schimmel’s audit report at this link.
