Las Vegas Sands Casino is imposing Chinese gambling culture on the Christmas City of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Gambling is illegal in all of Red China except on the island of Macau, where a Chinese native named Ho once monopolized the industry - unti the arrival there of Las Vegas casino owners and operators Sheldon Adelson and the president and CEO of his sin palaces, William P. Weidner.

Adelson, with the assistance and influence of lobbyists like “Casino” Jack Abramoff and former former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Tom DeLay, has financed the junkets of no fewer than 75 U.S. Congresspersons to Israel in his effort to establish casinos there - thus far a fruitless effort, fortunately, since gambling is illegal in that religious state.

This is all occurring at the same time that our own government is running up unprecedented budget deficits and trade imbalances vis a vis Communist China, deficits and imbalances that will only worsen if succeeds if Congress caves in as it did with both NAFTA and CAFTA and gives George W. Bush his North American Trade Union.

Adelson’s and Pennsylvania Governor Edward G. Rendell’s promise that Act 71, “Legalized” Gambling, will reduce the commonwealth’s school property tax through Act 71’s companion bill, the “Back-End” voter referendum, is a lie:

Act 71 revenue would provide no financial aid to public schools and the taxpayers who support them. The lion’s share (no pun intended on the lion’s mouth motif of the Las Vegas MGM Casino, completely renovated at a cost of millions of dollars, because Chines gamblers saw the gaped-open maw as a harbinger of bad luck at the gambling tables, roulette wheels, and slot machines) of the revenue would go to casino owners like Sheldon Adelson and Ed Wynn.

In fact, Adelson had already built a private school, or chabad, in the Pocono Mountains, near the Mount Airy Lodge, and not much farther away than the BethWorks site in the City of  Count Nicholas Von Zinzendorf and the Moravians and their Savior, Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

(They are among the more than 1,000 of the faithful who signed the petition presented to Northampton County Council that helped prevent removal of the Ten Commandments from the county’s Courtroom One.

(That number will be as nothing if the governments of Northampton County and the City of Bethlehem proceed with their ungodly efforts of construct a casino in Bethlehem.

Adelson knew of course when planning this school that the Pocono Mountains and the “Lehigh Valley” were predestined for Class II stand-alone slot machine gambling casinos.

Adelson and his wife Miriam together donated $1 million of George W. Bush’s 2005 Inaugural, which coincided, in an unlucky roll of Nature’s dice, with the twin disasters of the Indonesian tsunami and Hurricane katrina in the Gulf Coast states of this country.
